Gary Moore - Representing Carlton-in-Lindrick

RECENT NEWS & EVENTS

May 2007
I would like to thank all the people of Carlton who voted for me in the recent elections but, unfortunately, I lost by 70 votes. Many thanks to all the friends and family who delivered leaflets and helped with telephone canvassing.
I will be still carrying out my duties as a parish councillor.
Again my sincere thanks to you all

Gary Moore - Your Local Representative for Carlton-in-Lindrick

MY PROFILE

Dear Resident..

I am 54 years of age and have lived in the village for more than 40 years. Married to my lovely wife Kathleen I have 2 children Beverly and Daniel who both attended local schools.

I have been a Parish Councillor for 9 years and in this time I have had the honour of twice being Chairman. I have also been involved with the running of the village hall and am Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

In my working capacity, I am involved with providing the electrical infrastructure being installed in all the new schools and leisure centres currently being built in Bassetlaw.

I have always strived to make Carlton-in-Lindrick a better place to live for everyone. I would like to see that Carlton gets at least two Community Police Officers to patrol our streets so that people feel safer.

I would like to see cycle routes in the village that join up with the routes around Worksop and other villages.

I want to ensure that our streets are not only safer but also cleaner.

I am a person who gets out and about in the village and promise to make myself available to anyone who wants to speak to me - at any time.

Many thanks for your confidence and support and thank you for voting for SOMEONE who is DEDICATED TO CARLTON.
