Gary Moore - Parish Councillor, Carlton-in-Lindrick

RECENT NEWS & EVENTS

May 2007
I would like to thank all the people of Carlton who voted for me in the recent elections but, unfortunately, I lost by 70 votes. Many thanks to all the friends and family who delivered leaflets and helped with telephone canvassing.
I will be still carrying out my duties as a parish councillor.
Again, my sincere thanks to you all.

I am always around the village so please approach me with any of your problems.

Recently as Parish Chairman I have been working closely with Alan Rhodes your County Councillor in resolving the parking problem at the entrance to the village, coming in from Worksop. This was done by installing bollards, marking out the bus stop area and reseeding the grass verge.

Also the parish council will be initiating up to 4 new flower beds and 4 new park benches to enhance the appearance of the village.

We have submitted various sites to the Highways Department for their approval. While we are waiting for their reply, we will be planting up the Mile Stone Garden at the Green and also the Lambert Gardens.
